Refund Policy

1. Digital Products — Final Sale

The products sold on this storefront are digital downloads delivered instantly to the email address provided at checkout. Once a download link has been sent and the file has been accessed, the sale is considered final.

By completing your purchase, you expressly request immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge that you waive the 14-day right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 16(m)).

The exceptions described in sections 2 and 3 below still apply.

2. Technical Issues — We'll Fix It

If you cannot access your file, the download link is broken, the PDF is corrupted, or the email never arrives, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will fix the issue or issue a full refund.

Write to support@thebugcompany.co with your order number and a short description of the problem. We usually respond within a few hours during business days.

3. Wrong Purchase or Misunderstanding

If you bought the wrong product, accidentally purchased twice, or feel the product was materially different from what was described on the sales page, contact us within 7 days of purchase. We review these requests on a case-by-case basis and will issue a full or partial refund where appropriate.

"I changed my mind after reading the book" or "I already knew the information" are not normally grounds for a refund, since the value of the product is delivered the moment the file is opened. That said, every case is read by a human — write to us and explain the situation.

4. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds are processed through Stripe and credited back to the original payment method. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the refund typically appears on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.

5. Chargebacks

If you have a problem with your order, please contact us first at support@thebugcompany.co. Issuing a chargeback through your bank or card provider before contacting us prevents us from helping you directly, may block any future purchases from the same account, and adds significant cost on both sides for a problem we could likely have solved in a single email.

We commit to resolving genuine issues quickly. Please give us the chance to do so before escalating.
